Roadmap for 2026

January 23, 2026

With the launch of House of Maestro, our focus has always been on crafting thoughtful, well-built UI and deepening our knowledge of typography, color theory, layout, spacing and accessibility, the true foundations of great design.

Design should remain human-led. While AI is a powerful assistant to speed up processes, it shouldn’t replace the design decisions that shape brand personality and user experience. Over-reliance risks creating interfaces that all look the same.

Good design is about care, craft, and creating experiences that feel human.

So our goals for 2026 are:

✅ Continue improving Core Pro, our favourite design system starter kit, with a stronger focus on variables, typography, and developer handoff — keeping it simple for better and faster onboarding through video tutorials.

✅ Offer regular online and in-person workshops on UI design best practices and getting started with design system (you can check our previous events).

✅ Build & share more free Figma resources on the Figma Community page.

✅ Growing our YouTube channel with snackable videos for quick learning: youtube.com/@house-of-maestro

✅ Attend more Europe-wide conferences focused on visual design, branding, front-end, and design systems to learn, connect, and collaborate.

✅ Return to more handcrafted methods and reconnect with our passion for type by learning hand lettering.

I’m really looking forward to the year ahead and excited to see what you, designers, will create and share.
